BUYS Anneke: Reve kaj reale. Moskvo: Impeto, 2006. 40p. Broŝurita.

Temas pri 34 poemoj de premiita nederlanda poetino, kiu ankaŭ verkas en la nederlanda kaj angla, kaj kiu aperigis tri poemarojn en la nederlanda lingvo. 13 el la poemoj troviĝas en la rubriko “Reve” kaj 21 en la rubriko “Reale”.

Buys estas teĥnike kompetenta. Tio evidentas jam de la unua poemo “Amikeco”, en kiu ŝi profitas de la aglutinaj latentoj de Esperanto:

Donaco
Pli rompebla ol sapveziko —
transdonigenda
zorgafingre,
lanugodelikate.

Ŝi ankaŭ bone scias utiligi la ripetadon de temo interne de poemo por emfazi poemon (“Krea tago”, “Vi”, “Demando” ekzemplas sed ne elĉerpas ŝian stokon de tiaj poemoj).

Mi tamen ricevas la impreson, ke Buys verkas poemojn pli por verki poemojn ol por uzi ilin por publikigi siajn sentojn (kvankam de tiaj lastaj ankaŭ estas ekzempleroj, kiel la menciita “Demando”).

Troviĝas kelkaj misoj inter la vortoj. Kelkaj povas esti simple komposteraroj (ŝvarmas [svarmas] p. 20, de el [de] p. 23, kolibrio [kolibro] p. 37). Sed unu estas rekta gramatika eraro (manĝigas ĝin malamon grizan [manĝigas al ĝi malamon grizan] p. 24). Kaj tro ofte aperas la eraro montri pasivan participon de netransitiva verbo (sulkiĝita p. 10, enviciĝate p. 14, kvietiĝita p. 25, kaŭrataj p. 35).

Interesa sed ne aparte elstara.

These are 34 poems by an award-winning Dutch poetess, who also writes in Dutch and English, and who has had published three collections of poetry in the Dutch language. 13 of the poems fall under the heading of “Daydreams” and 21 under the heading of “Reality”.

Buys is technically competent. That is obvious as early as the first poem “Friendship,” in which she takes advantages of Esperanto’s latent agglutinative capabilities:

A gift
More breakable than a soap bubble —
Which is to be given over
With careful fingers,
With the fineness of down.

She also knows well how to make use of the repetition of topic within a poem to emphasize the poem (“Day of Creation,” “You,” “Question” are examples but do not exhaust her stock of such poems).

I also get the impression that Buys writes poems more to write poems than to use them to make public her feelings (although there are also also examples of such poems, e.g. the above-mentioned “Question”).

There are several blunders among the words. Some may be simple typographical errors (ŝvarmas [svarmas] p. 20, de el [de] p. 23, kolibrio [kolibro] p. 37). But one is a direct grammatical error (manĝigas ĝin malamon grizan [manĝigas al ĝi malamon grizan] p. 24). And too often we find the error of showing the passive participle of an intransitive verb (sulkiĝita p. 10, enviciĝate p. 14, kvietiĝita p. 25, kaŭrataj p. 35).

Interesting, but not especially outstanding.
